We'd need to have an MOS number to look it up for you! Without that, it's almost impossible to tell!

If you don't know the MOS number, we might be able to give you a very high overview if you can tell us what he's going to be - like aviation electronics, aviation mechanic, crew chief, etc.

It is up to the people in charge of each school. There is no "6 month rule"....that is just a rumor.

Just as a note about the MOS 6251. MOS 625X indicate that he will be a fixed wing airframe mechanic. Fixed wing airframe mechanics spend 54 training days in Pensacola, which is just under 3 months -...

Rule of thumb is different than a real military rule though! Each school determines their own policies concerning accompanied orders, as stated above. The general trend is that schooling over 6 months...
